Founding Product Designer (Full Time)

WHO WE ARE 🌍

Innercrowd is a fast-growing startup building loyalty-driven engagement and communication software for festivals and live events. Our products power fan engagement for some of the world’s most iconic live event brands, including Verknipt, Elevation Events, and REBiRTH.

We’re at a pivotal stage: multiple live products, paying customers across multiple countries, a strong engineering team and now we’re ready to make product design a core discipline inside the company.

THE ROLE 🧭

We’re hiring our Founding Product Designer, the first design hire at Innercrowd.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You’ll define how product design works here, own the end-to-end design of our product suite, and help shape how product decisions are made. You’ll work closely with founders and engineers to turn ambiguous problems into clear, shippable solutions.

You’ll also be responsible for setting the visual quality bar across our products and overseeing brand-related design work, ensuring consistency between product and marketing.

This role is ideal for a designer who wants to operate as a true product partner, not just a service function.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🏄

Own product design end-to-end

• Lead discovery through user conversations, product data, and fast validation

• Turn unclear problems into clear product decisions, flows, and interfaces

• Design MVPs, ship quickly, and iterate based on real-world usage

Design across a multi-product platform

• Create clarity and consistency across multiple products

• Define shared patterns, components, and interaction principles

• Build and evolve a pragmatic design system that helps engineers move faster

Work deeply with engineering

• Collaborate closely with developers from concept to release

• Design with technical constraints in mind and discuss tradeoffs openly

• Support implementation through specs, reviews, and design QA
  

Own AI-assisted product design workflows

• Define and own the design principles, requirements, and constraints used in AI-assisted development

• Create, maintain, and review prompts, agents, and AI design instructions

• Review and refine AI output to ensure usability, consistency, and brand alignment

• We don’t expect you to have implemented all of this end-to-end before. What matters most is strong product judgment, curiosity, and genuine excitement about learning and shaping these workflows together with our technical and founder team.

Use data to inform decisions

• Validate design decisions using product analytics (e.g. Mixpanel)

• Identify friction points and opportunities across the user journey

• Combine qualitative insights with quantitative signals
  

Own and oversee visual & brand design

• Define and safeguard the visual quality bar across product

• Evolve our visual language together with marketing

• Supervise and review work by freelance designers when needed

• Ensure brand and product design reinforce each other

TOOLS & STACK 🛠️

Our current stack is current,, not fixed. As our Founding Product Designer, you’ll have real influence over how we work and which tools we use. We’re happy to change our stack if it leads to better outcomes. Tools we currently use are Figma, Storybook, Mixpanel, Jira and Framer. Also we work with tools like Claud Code / Cursor for AI driven development and automated design workflows. Strong product thinking matters more than tool mastery.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 🪄

Must-haves

• 4+ years of experience in product design, ideally in early-stage SaaS

• Experience owning design end-to-end, from discovery to shipped product

• Strong product thinking and comfort working with ambiguity

• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and founders

• A portfolio showing real shipped work and thoughtful decision-making

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as the first or early designer in a startup

• Experience working across multiple products or complex systems

• Experience supervising or collaborating with brand designers

• Interest in AI-assisted workflows for design or development
